Kitchen safety - 1º APSD

Problem number 1:

The soup overflows the saucepan, putting out the fire because of the spill on the burner, but the gas is still running and on top of the extractor there is a tea-towel, that could potentially cause a fire if it falls on the burner.



Solution:

 

We should close the gas pipe, turn off the burner, and clean the spilled soup.

Problem number 2:

There’s food and toys scattered on the counter and on the floor,  you can trip over them, slip and fall.

 

Solution:

 

You should put the toys and food away and clear the kitchen.

Problem number 3:

 

The knives are within reach of children and the baby can take them and cut herself.

 


Solution:

 

Leave them in a safe place away from the baby.

Problem number 4:

 

The wire of the coffee pot is stripped and the coffee pot is near the edge of the counter.

 


Solution:

 

We must move it to the wall and put duct tape around the cable.

Problem number 5:

 

There’s too much rubbish in the bin and it can’t be closed.

 


solution:

 

You must take the rubbish out everyday.

Problem number 6:

 

The cat sand is all over the floor and the water is spilt.

 


Solution:

 

You must take the sand out of the kitchen and mop the floor.

Problem number 7:

 

The carpet is very damaged by excess grease.

 


Solution:

 

We should change the carpet.
